Baseball Recap: Sylacauga Takes a Loss

Sylacauga suffered their biggest loss since March 18th on Friday. They lost 17-6 to the Benjamin Russell Wildcats. The Aggies just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Sylacauga saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Phillips, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Sylacauga's loss dropped their record down to 13-15. As for Benjamin Russell, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-10-1 record this season.

Sylacauga will be playing at home against Shelby County at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Benjamin Russell, they are taking a road trip to square off against Calera at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
