Football Game Preview: Eads Eagles vs. Otis Bulldogs

The Eads Eagles will challenge the Otis Bulldogs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Eads has given up an average of 35.2 points per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Eads is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Stratton, who was ranked seventh at the time (Eads was ranked 12th). Eads was beaten by Stratton 66-30 two weeks ago. Eads has been going strong on the season, but this is now their second defeat in a row.

The match pitted two dominant backs against one another in Karsten Buller and Drew Fox. Fox had a great game and rushed for 132 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. Meanwhile, Buller was balling out in the loss, rushing for 91 yards and two scores on only seven carries.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Bulldogs on Saturday. The matchup between Otis and Peetz didn't end well, with Otis falling 37-22.

Otis' loss dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Eads, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.

Eads was taken down by Otis 69-7 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. That game was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Eagles were down 54-0.
