Baseball Recap: Hillcrest Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Hillcrest can now relate to. They came up short against the Payson Lions on Saturday, falling 14-2. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their meetings with the Lions: they've now lost six in a row.

Hillcrest saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Boston Carrell, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Hillcrest's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Payson, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 16-10.

As of now, neither Hillcrest nor the Lions have any future games scheduled.
