Basketball Recap: Madison Patriots vs. Avery County Vikings
Madison played a tough contest on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by the Avery County Vikings and fell 65-23. The Patriots were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.
Sarah Ball was Madison's leading scorer, having posted six points. Layla Rhinehart held things down on the boards with six rebounds. Anna Barnette took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with three assists.
