Salmon River was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the St. Lawrence Central Larries 64-37. One positive for the Shamrocks, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Ayden Beach continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for St. Lawrence Central, dropping a double-double on 26 points and 14 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Beach has scored at least a third of St. Lawrence Central's points. Damien Ashley was another key player, going 7 for 16 on his way to 16 points along with five assists and four steals.

Salmon River's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for St. Lawrence Central, their victory was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-1.

Salmon River will host Tupper Lake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for St. Lawrence Central, they will square off against Brushton-Moira at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
