Griffin has enjoyed the comforts of home their last four games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Starr's Mill Panthers at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Last Wednesday, Griffin made easy work of Jasper County and carried off a 9-1 victory.

Makyla Colquitt was incredible, going 3-for-3 with three RBI, a triple, and a run. The dominant performance gave her a new career-high in hits. The team also got some help courtesy of Semaja Dewberry, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Griffin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, Starr's Mill got themselves on the board against Jonesboro on Thursday, but Jonesboro never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Cardinals with a sharp 15-0 win.

Griffin is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Starr's Mill, they now have a winning record of 8-7.
