Softball Recap: Harmony Grove Comes Up Short

If Harmony Grove was riding high fresh off their 18-2 takedown of Prescott on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Fouke Panthers on Friday. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Panthers from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.

Harmony Grove's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Fouke, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Harmony Grove will challenge Ashdown at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.45 runs per game on average), something the Hornets will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Fouke, they will square off against Prescott at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
