Basketball Recap: Long Prairie-Grey Eagle's Losing Streak Snapped at Five Games

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Browerville, but still couldn't quite topple them. Everything went the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder's way against the Browerville Tigers on Friday as the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder made off with a 54-28 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Thunder as it spelled an end to their five-game losing streak.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-8. As for Browerville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-10.

Long Prairie-Grey Eagle and Browerville could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Minnesota Rankings. Long Prairie-Grey Eagle (ranked 328th) will meet Upsala (ranked 151st) at 7:15 p.m. on January 21st. Similarly, Browerville will challenge Pine River-Backus at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday down 253 places (371 vs. 118).
