Basketball Game Preview: Southeast Alamance Stallions vs. Northwood Chargers

Southeast Alamance is 0-4 against Northwood since December of 2023 but things could change on Tuesday. The Southeast Alamance Stallions will take on the Northwood Chargers at 7:30 p.m.

Last Friday, Southeast Alamance was just a bucket shy of victory and fell 32-31 to Chatham Central. The match marked the Stallions' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meanwhile, Northwood had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They claimed a resounding 70-32 win over the Mustangs. The Chargers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 contests by 25 points or more this season.

Northwood's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 15-2. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 31.3 points. As for Southeast Alamance, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-3.

Southeast Alamance came up short against Northwood when the teams last played back in December of 2024, falling 69-65. Can Southeast Alamance avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
