Basketball Recap: Unalaska Drops Highest Score of Season Against Tok

Unalaska scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They took a hard 63-48 fall against the Tok Wolverines. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Raiders of the 37-28 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in February of 2024.

Tok got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Skyla Frank-Young out in front who posted nine points. Allison Demit was another key player, going 5-for-11 en route to 12 points and three steals.

Unalaska has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which has put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. As for Tok, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season.

Unalaska has already played their next contest (against Ninilchik), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Tok, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, an 82-19 win against Nikiski on the 15th.
