Basketball Recap: Carver Montgomery Snaps Four-Game Streak of Wins at Home

If Carver Montgomery was riding high fresh off their 74-47 takedown of Wilcox Central last Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Carver Montgomery Wolverines took a 47-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Enterprise Wildcats on Saturday. The contest marked the Wolverines' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Enterprise's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brady Wadsworth, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave Wadsworth a new career-high in rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tucker Wadsworth, who posted 14 points and six rebounds.

Carver Montgomery's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-6. As for Enterprise, their victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Carver Montgomery will head out to take on Dothan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Enterprise, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Enterprise Wildcats face off against the JAG Jaguars at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Enterprise is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55.8 points per game this season.
