Volleyball Recap: Beechwood Picks Up Fourth Straight Win on the Road

Beechwood posted their closest win since October 5, 2024 on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Calhoun Yellow Jackets, sneaking past 2-1.

The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Beechwood who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 24-26, 15-8.

Beechwood pushed their record up to 5-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Calhoun, their defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-5.

Beechwood will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Bishop Brossart at 7:30 p.m. on September 2. As for Calhoun, they have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against T.C. Roberson on the 23rd.
