Jimtown is 0-8 against the Eagles since January of 2016 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Jimtown Jimmies will be playing at home against the South Bend Adams Eagles at 7:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Jimtown's favor as the team sits on five straight wins at home while the Eagles have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
Even though Elkhart Christian Academy scored an imposing 56 points on Tuesday, Jimtown still came out on top. Jimtown escaped with a win against the Eagles by the margin of a single free throw, 57-56.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Jimtown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Clopton, who scored eight points along with six assists and four steals. Dylan Fey was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Meanwhile, South Bend Adams beat the Lions 59-46 on Monday.
Jimtown has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-8 record this season. As for South Bend Adams, their win bumped their record up to an identical 7-8.
