Basketball Recap: Sebastian River's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak at Home

It was a good run, but Sebastian River unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They received a blow as they fell 54-36 to the Treasure Coast Titans. While losing is never fun, the Sharks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 354th, while the Titans are ranked 166th).

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Treasure Coast to victory, but perhaps none more so than Isaiah Dunkley, who posted 11 points and eight rebounds. Another player making a difference was Torre Washington, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and 12 boards.

Sebastian River's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-5. As for Treasure Coast, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season.

Sebastian River will venture away from home to square off against Satellite at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Treasure Coast, they will take on Suncoast at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Treasure Coast will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
