Basketball Recap: Hmong Academy Takes a Loss

Hmong Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Hope Academy and fell 79-6. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Hmong Academy of the 69-11 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2022.

Hmong Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-20. As for Hope Academy, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hmong Academy will square off against Higher Ground Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Hope Academy, they will challenge Johnson/Washington Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
