Basketball Recap: Midview Takes a Loss

Midview came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They were dealt a 68-39 loss at the hands of the Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy Royals. The Middies were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 39-18.

Midview lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Leah DiFranco, who went 5-for-11 en route to 15 points. Her evening made it seven games in a row in which she has scored at least 15 points. Hunter Crum was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Midview has traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 15 matchups, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-15 record this season. As for Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.
