Morgan County waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They never let the Apalachee Wildcats get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory. The final result isn't all the surprising considering Morgan County's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Georgia soccer rankings (they are ranked 80th, while Apalachee are ranked 315th).

Morgan County pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. Those home victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Apalachee, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.
