West Covina came out on top against Covina on Thursday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run sixth inning. The Bulldogs had just enough and edged out the Colts 7-5. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Colts on Tuesday, they had to take a 5-2 loss.

The team relied heavily on Marciano Ramirez, who went 2-for-4 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Austin Nguyen also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: West Covina kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in February.
