Waukee waltzed into their contest on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on Sergeant Bluff-Luton with a sharp 8-2 win. The result was nothing new for Waukee, who have now won 11 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Waukee's victory bumped their record up to 20-8. As for Sergeant Bluff-Luton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 16-15 record this season.

Coincidentally, Waukee and Sergeant Bluff-Luton will both be playing Valley the next time they take the field. Sergeant Bluff-Luton will host Valley at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, while Waukee will host them at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
