Basketball Game Preview: New Richmond Lions vs. Batavia Bulldogs

The New Richmond Lions will square off against the Batavia Bulldogs at 7:45 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five losses in a row, New Richmond turned things around against Lockland on Tuesday. They strolled past the Panthers with points to spare, taking the game 65-48. That 17 point margin sets a new team best for the Lions this season.

Meanwhile, Batavia waltzed into their contest on Tuesday with seven straight wins... but they left with eight. They managed a 54-50 win over the Green Devils.

Batavia pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. As for New Richmond, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-8.
