Basketball Game Preview: Foreman Hornets vs. Wells Raiders

The Foreman Hornets will head out on the road to take on the Wells Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Foreman has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the contest with three straight losses, while Wells will come in with three straight victories.

Last Monday, Foreman was beaten by Austin College and Career Academy 54-21.

Meanwhile, Wells hadn't done well against Disney II recently (they were 0-3 in their previous three matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Wells took their game with ease, bagging a 64-4 win over Disney II. That 60 point margin sets a new team best for the Raiders this season.

Foreman better keep an eye on Ashanti Clark. She was instrumental in Wells' win, almost dropping a triple-double on 34 points, nine boards, and 12 steals. The match was Clark's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Tamyra Davis, who went 11 of 19 en route to 23 points and three steals.

Wells' victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Foreman, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
