Greater Latrobe is a perfect 7-0 against Kiski Area since April of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Wildcats will challenge the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

On Monday, Greater Latrobe came up short against Forest Hills and fell 11-6.

Meanwhile, Kiski Area also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Butler by a score of 9-5. The Cavaliers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Alyssa Perona was cooking despite her team's loss, firing off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Dakota Rainey, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBI.

Greater Latrobe has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season. As for Kiski Area, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Greater Latrobe came out on top in a nail-biter against Kiski Area in their previous meeting back in April of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
