Softball Recap: Pleasant Hill Has No Trouble Against Hartsburg-Emden

Pleasant Hill won the last time they faced Hartsburg-Emden and things went their way on Saturday too. The Wolves put the hurt on the Stags with a sharp 25-5 win. That 20 run margin sets a new team best for the Wolves this season.

Pleasant Hill got a massive performance out of Ada Little, who fired off six RBI, four doubles, and two runs while going 4-for-4. Maddie Sidwell also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.

Pleasant Hill lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Pleasant Hill has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Hartsburg-Emden, their defeat was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Coincidentally, Pleasant Hill and Hartsburg-Emden will both be playing Pleasant Plains the next time they take the field. The Stags will head out to face the Cardinals at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
