Basketball Recap: Academy of Holy Angels Comes Up Short

Academy of Holy Angels was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Benilde-St. Margaret's Red Knights, falling 79-54. While losing is never fun, the Stars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 189th, while the Red Knights are ranked first).

Academy of Holy Angels now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Benilde-St. Margaret's, they pushed their record up to 14-1 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season.
