Baseball Recap: Nature Coast Tech Has No Trouble Against Hudson

Nature Coast Tech won the last time they faced Hudson and things went their way on Thursday too. The Sharks were the clear victors by a 13-2 margin over the Cobras. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

BRADY MCMURDO was a standout: he got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run and three RBI. That home run was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of JOEY VANCLEAVE, who scored four runs while going 2-for-3.

MCMURDO wasn't the only one working in the home run department: Nature Coast Tech lost a few balls and finished the game with two home runs. That's the most home runs they've posted since back in March of 2024.

The win made it two in a row for Nature Coast Tech and bumps their season record up to 16-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.5 runs over those games. As for Hudson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-14.

Looking ahead, Nature Coast Tech is taking a road trip to challenge Hernando at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hudson, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fivay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cobras are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a 20-game losing streak.
