While Fresno's win against Selma wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Warriors won by a set and slipped past the Bears 3-2. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

Fresno had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 24-26, 23-25, 26-24, 25-21, 15-11.

Fresno's victory bumped their record up to 12-19. As for Selma, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Fresno will challenge Hoover at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors are facing the Patriots at the right time seeing as the Patriots are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Selma, they will take on Reedley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
