Zionsville gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They blew past the Pike Red Devils 27-7. This was payback for the Eagles, who suffered a 31-20 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Sam Manna had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 191 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 11.2 yards per carry. He really tore up the turf during one magnificent 72-yard run.
