Basketball Recap: Keyser Takes a Loss

Keyser and Wayne squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Keyser had to settle for second. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 54-50 to the Wayne Pioneers, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Golden Tornado's defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Keyser's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Wayne, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-6.

Keyser does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Wayne, they will take on Chapmanville Regional at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Wayne will be up against Chapmanville Regional's rather soft defense (which has allowed 60.05 points per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
