Football Recap: Bacon County Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Bacon County lost against Jeff Davis back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Raiders took a 34-17 bruising from the Yellowjackets. While the Raiders didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Yellowjackets 10-6 in the first quarter.

Jeff Davis can attribute much of their success to Ian Griffin, who rushed for 76 yards and one touchdown on only ten carries.

Bacon County's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Jeff Davis, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.

Coming up, Bacon County will head out to take on Worth County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Rams' defense has only allowed 11 points per game this season, so the Raiders' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Jeff Davis, they will square off against Rutland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Yellowjackets will be up against the Hurricanes' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.14 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
