Basketball Recap: Lebanon Snags Seventh Win in Last Nine Games

Lebanon lost to Sullivan East back in December of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Lebanon Pioneers came out on top in a nail-biter against the Sullivan East Patriots, sneaking past 48-46. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Pioneers.

Despite the loss, Sullivan East had strong showings from Eli Hubbard, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 15 rebounds, and Kaden Hicks, who went 6 for 13 on his way to 15 points and seven boards. Hicks' evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Lebanon has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 11-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.7 points per game. As for Sullivan East, they dropped their record down to 4-19 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Lebanon will face off against Marion at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sullivan East, they will be playing at home against Tennessee at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
