Christ Covenant waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past Coastal Brigade 9-0. Christ Covenant might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by three goals or more this season.

Their offense was hitting Coastal Brigade from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Elin Smith led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for four goals all by herself.

Christ Covenant's victory bumped their record up to 9-3-1. As for Coastal Brigade, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-11 record this season.

Christ Covenant wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 6-0 win against New Bern Christian Academy on the 29th. As for Coastal Brigade, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Liberty Christian Academy on the 1st.
