St. James barely beat John Ehret the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Patriots on Monday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 games by seven runs or more this season.

Landon Gravois was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with two stolen bases and two RBI. Braden Scioneaux was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI and one stolen base.

St. James always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .516. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as John Ehret only posted an OBP of .211.

The win was the fifth in a row for St. James, bringing their record up to 17-5. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for John Ehret, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-20 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. James will host Patterson at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for John Ehret, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Jefferson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Buccaneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.23 runs per game on average), something the Patriots will no doubt try to take advantage of.
