Berrien's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Lanier County Bulldogs with a sharp 47-21 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their six-point performance the matchup before.

Berrien didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Connor Bullard and Cole Stone.

The win got Berrien back to even at 1-1. As for Lanier County, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berrien will take on Telfair County at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th. As for Lanier County, they will challenge Hawkinsville at 7:30 p.m. on the 29th.
