Softball Recap: Johnson Takes a Loss

Johnson fell victim to Reagan and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Rattlers, falling 12-0. Having soared to a lofty 19 runs in the game before, the Jaguars' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Johnson's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Reagan, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 20-4 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Johnson will face off against Madison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Mavericks' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Jaguars' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Reagan, they will take on LEE at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
