Softball Recap: Mount Tabor Spartans vs. R.J. Reynolds Demons
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Mount Tabor). They blew past the R.J. Reynolds Demons 20-3 on Monday. The win was some much needed relief for the Spartans as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Mount Tabor got a massive performance out of Piper Cox, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, three runs, and four RBI. Those four RBI gave Cox a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Bella Rogers, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Mount Tabor was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .538. They are 2-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
The victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 2-8. As for R.J. Reynolds, their defeat was their fifth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-14.
