Baseball Recap: Fall River Comes Up Short

If Fall River was feeling good fresh off their 13-2 takedown of Anderson on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Fall River Bulldogs lost 10-2 to the Paradise Bobcats on Friday.

Fall River saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hunter Bruning, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.

Fall River's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Paradise, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Fall River didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 9-4 defeat against Willows on the 8th. As for Paradise, they will be taking part in a tournament against Hamilton at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Paradise is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.5 runs per game this season.
