Baseball Recap: Hamilton Christian Gets the Win

Hamilton Christian lost to Bell City back in March of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Hamilton Christian Warriors walked away with a 6-3 win over the Bell City Bruins. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Warriors.

Hamilton Christian's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Noah Menard, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Menard is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's stolen at least one every time he's taken the field this season. Another was Grant Menard, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.

Looking ahead, Hamilton Christian will look to defend their home field on Saturday against Lafayette Christian Academy at 3:00 p.m. Lafayette Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hamilton Christian surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bell City, they will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on Lake Charles College Prep at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
