They had to suffer through a rough 71-42 loss at the hands of Bishop Seabury Academy. Kansas City Christian School has not had much luck with Bishop Seabury Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Bishop Seabury Academy's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Honarvar, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 18 rebounds. Honarvar is absolutely dominating the rebound category: he's posted at least eight every time he's taken the court this season. Jace Smith was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 15 points and ten assists.
Kansas City Christian School's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 8-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Kansas City Christian School will take on Bishop Ward at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bishop Ward will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak. As for Bishop Seabury Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Maranatha Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. Maranatha Christian Academy will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Kansas Rankings (they are ranked 280th, while Bishop Seabury Academy is ranked 88th).
