Meanwhile, sadly, Onalaska is still looking for their first win of the season after six games. They suffered a tough 14-4 loss at the hands of Wahkiakum on Saturday. That's two games in a row now that Onalaska has lost by exactly ten runs.

Kalama's victory bumped their record up to 5-3. As for Onalaska, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-6.

Kalama took their win against Onalaska when the teams last played back in March of 2022 by a conclusive 15-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Kalama since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
