Football Game Preview: Clark County Indians vs. Westran Hornets

The Clark County Indians will face off against the Westran Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Clark County and four for Westran.

Clark County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They had to suffer through an 82-30 loss at the hands of Palmyra. Surprisingly, this marked the Indians' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Meanwhile, Westran took a blow against Crest Ridge/Chilhowee on Friday, falling 44-14.

Westran's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Clark County, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Clark County couldn't quite finish off Westran in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 and fell 22-20. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of the Hornets' Gage Adler, who rushed for 34 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 234 yards and one touchdown. Now that the Indians know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
