Laney had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Jordan Falcons on Friday, sneaking past 10-8. Ten seems to be a good number for the Buccaneers as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Jason Sproull made a splash no matter where he played. He struck out ten batters over five innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in eight consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.
