Baseball Recap: Ashley Extends Road Winning Streak to Ten

Ashley extended their postseason success on Thursday against Apex Friendship. They beat the Patriots by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 4-3. The victory was nothing new for the Screaming Eagle as they're now sitting on six straight.

Ashley got a great performance from Jackson Lee as he didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Lee has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Tanner Berry, who went 2-for-5 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Ashley kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2024.

Ashley's win was their tenth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Apex Friendship, the loss snapped their winning streak at 12 games and leaves them with a 22-7 record.

Ashley has already played their next contest (against Laney), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Apex Friendship does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
