 Bettye Davis East Anchorage was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost  7-5 to the Dimond Lynx, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Bettye Davis East Anchorage of the  14-4 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in May of 2023.

 In other batting news,  Rowan Leathard was  excellent,  scoring two  runs and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5.
 Bettye Davis East Anchorage's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Dimond, their win  ended  a  five-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 2-10.
