Softball Recap: Caston Comets vs. Knox Redskins

Caston pushed their score to 15 the last time they played Knox, but on Saturday they couldn't quite do it again. The Caston Comets never let the Knox Redskins onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Caston also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2023.

Addison Zimpleman was a major factor no matter where she played. She didn't allow a single earned run over seven innings pitched. Zimpleman was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 3-for-3.

In other batting news, Madi Douglass was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Isabel Scales was another key contributor, going 1-for-4 with a triple and a run.
