Basketball Game Preview: The Vanguard School Coursers vs. Banning Lewis Academy Stallions

Two dominant guards in JJ Wetters and Matthew Lebron are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Vanguard School Coursers will take on the Banning Lewis Academy Stallions at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, The Vanguard School beat St. Mary's 54-50. The victory continues a trend for the Coursers in their matchups with the Pirates: they've now won four in a row.

Meanwhile, Banning Lewis Academy didn't have too much trouble with Colorado Springs Christian on Friday as they won 64-45. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Stallions.

The Vanguard School's record now sits at 17-5. As for Banning Lewis Academy, their record is now 18-4.
