Soccer Game Preview: Halls vs. Sevier County

Halls hasn't had much luck against Sevier County recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Halls Tigers will venture away from home to challenge the Sevier County Smoky Bears at 7:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

While Halls fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They never let Anderson County get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. The Tigers have beaten the Mavericks the last three times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Mavericks has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, everything went Sevier County's way against Austin-East on Thursday as Sevier County made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Smoky Bears.

Halls might still be hurting after the 5-1 defeat they got from Sevier County in their previous matchup back in May of 2016. Can Halls avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
