Recap: Dothan Wolves vs. JAG Jaguars
The Dothan Wolves were the 68-67 winner over the JAG Jaguars when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Dothan fell 61-51 to JAG on Friday. Dothan just can't catch a break and has now endured three losses in a row.
JAG's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ethan Friendly, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 rebounds. Those 12 rebounds set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Ladarrin Hooper, who scored 12 points.
Dothan's defeat dropped their record down to 8-4. As for JAG, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 12-0.
Dothan will be home for the holidays to greet Percy Julian at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Percy Julian's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last eight games. As for JAG, they will head out on the road to face off against Stanhope Elmore at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Stanhope Elmore will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Alabama Rankings (they are ranked 263rd, while JAG is ranked 18th).
