Basketball Game Preview: Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions vs. Pinnacle Pioneers

Mountain Ridge hasn't had much luck against Pinnacle recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mountain Ridge Mountain Lions will host the Pinnacle Pioneers at 7:00 p.m. Mountain Ridge is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 62.2 points per game this season.

Mountain Ridge is headed into Tuesday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They took an 88-74 bruising from Pinnacle. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Thursday (64), the Mountain Lions still had to take the loss.

Despite the loss, Mountain Ridge got top-tier performance from Jaiden Thompson, who went 6 of 12 on his way to 20 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Dylan Donovan was another key player, going 9 for 17 en route to 22 points.

Mountain Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 9-11. As for Pinnacle, the win snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-12 record.
