For the second straight game, Morgan will face off against Tri-Valley. The Raiders are taking a road trip to face off against the Scotties at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Morgan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.8 runs per game this season.

Monday just wasn't the day for Morgan's offense. They came up short against Tri-Valley on Monday, falling 6-0. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Raiders were not able to get on the board.

For Tri-Valley's part, not much got past Gavin Harrold, who gave up just two hits and racked up 14 Ks to keep Morgan off the board. Harrold has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in six consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Brady Kaufman was excellent, getting on base in two of his four plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Kade Hindel was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and two runs.

Morgan has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Tri-Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-3 record this season.
