Softball Recap: Franklin County Drops Season-High Score on Marshall County

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Franklin County). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Marshall County Tigers on Monday, sneaking past 10-9. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Rebels considering their one-run performance the contest before.

The win made it two in a row for Franklin County and bumps their season record up to 3-4. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Marshall County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-3.

Coincidentally, Franklin County and Marshall County will both be playing Tullahoma the next time they take the field. Franklin County will head out to face Tullahoma at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Marshall County will host them at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
